CBC swimmers who are members of the Stingrays Swimming Club received trophies and medals in recognition for their outstanding performance and commitment to swimming.

Denilson Cyprianos – Shield for Swimmer with Highest Achievements/Accomplishments. Denilson has reached the world standard in swimming, having qualified for World Youth Championships to be held in Budapest this year.

Tichatonga Makaya – Shield for Most Valuable Swimmer. Tich broke a 100m butterfly record at the SA Junior
Championships and qualified for Junior All Africa Games to be held in Tunisia this year.

Quintin Tayali – Shield for Most Outstanding Swimmer. Joash competed in the SA Junior Championships and got 1 time out of 2 needed for All Africa Games.

Jasper Mpofu – Shield for Most Consistent and Disciplined Swimmer. Jasper competed in the Gauteng Province Junior Championships in Pretoria. He has been the most focussed and disciplined swimmer who has set his objectives and his discipline will surely take him there.

Joash Mckonie – Shield for Overall Most Improved Swimmer. Joash competed in the SA Junior Championships and got 1 time out of 2 needed for All Africa Games.

Stavros Kehayias – Most Outstanding Swimmer in his Debut Gala

Farhaan May – Shield for Commitment to Swimming

Vuyo Ndlovu – Chairperson’s Shield for Team Spirit.  

Alexi Kehayias – Medal for Commitment to Swimming
