The CBC Water polo first team (The Sharks) took part in the St. Johns Tournament which was held from the 31st of August to the 1st of September. The Sharks registered 5 wins and 1 loss and came second in the tournament.

In preparation for the start of the Water polo season CBC junior teams: U14, U15, U16 and some U17s attended a 4 day Water polo Coaching Camp held at the CBC pool. The camp was run by Mr Lucas Letshabo from South Africa.
Mr Letshabo coaches water polo at junior and senior levels and has played water polo at both provincial and national levels in South Africa. The boys benefited from the camp as one of the participants Amiel Jackson (U17) said, “We learnt a lot from Mr Letshabo and we appreciate his dedication to us. It was a good way to start the season.”
